Your Favorite Music

Today, I feel different to talk about my column. I have been thinking about music recently. To me, my favorite music is life itself. Maybe it's more important than anything else.

I used to be a DJ at Osaka's one of the major broadcasting station, ABC. I had weekly program which contained my talk, record play or my own play and was total 10 minutes long. It was very short program but actually 10 minutes was really long time and I was able to cover various things. My main theme was music of course. I loved Blues and still love Blues.

I was lucky and continued my program almost 1 year. But at last final day was coming. I usually spent 2-3 hours to prepare 10 minutes program but last one. I actually spent 1 full week to make the last program, i.e., "What issue I should talk about", "Which kind of music I should play", and etc. Then finally I decided to talk about my life and music.

I still keep the recorded tape of that one. I still love and agree with the message I was talking about. Simply speaking, I was saying, "Every person has his/her own favorite music. That's fine."

I am actually very selfish person. I tried so hard to be nice to all the people but I do have my own personality and evaluate each person from deep inside of my heart, I hate to say that I am evaluating any person but... Some times, I feel so bad against the people those who behave as if he/she knows everything and/or smile sneaky as if his/her position has advantage to me that I could not control and stop myself to smash his/her face.

I think everybody has similar situation or feeling some times. I believe that there is only the difference of balance among all the people. Everybody has worry. Everybody has difficulty. Everybody has problem. But at the same time, everybody has his/her own favorite music so that he/she would be able to overcome these tough things. Your favorite music is always on your side. It will not betray you, always. No exception. The favorite music doesn't have to be polular song but any kind of music.

I realized that even people against me have their own personalities and all the people are different. Of course they all have their own favorite music. I don't have to get angry about that and now I can control myself better than past days.

As long as you have your favorite music, "Blues", "Pops", "Classic", "Jazz", "Caribbean", "Enka", or anything else, I bet your life is wonderful. Enjoy your favorite music, everyone!!!
