2. Yokohama, My Best
As I mentioned, I used to live in Tokyo for 3 years, 1980-1983. At that time, I was a young fellow and loved exciting city, Tokyo so much. Usually the guys from Osaka don't likeTokyo.
Even if Yokohama becomes 2nd largest city in Japan, Osaka is still great big city and has amaging influence to Japan everywhere just because of so called "huge big local power". I would like to talk about Osaka later but that's the fundamental reason why Osaka people don't like Tokyo so much in general. Some people would disagree with me but I do think so.
Anyway, when I got first job 20 years ago, the company asked me which location I wanted to work,

Osaka Head Office,
-b. Tokyo Branch Office or
-c. Some Overseas Countries.
Company also asked me which type of job I wanted to work,
-d.
Headquarters Function,
-e. Service, Logistics or
-f. Sales
I picked # 1 Osaka, # 2 Overseas, # 3 Tokyo and wanted to do # 1 Sales, # 2 Service, # 3 HQ Function. But company sent me my last choice, # 3 Tokyo and job was also # 3 HQ Job as Accounting as my first assignment. I was screaming like "Jesus, Christ! What a xxxxing decision making!".
But reality was the decision was completely wonderful, I can tell now. Because I really loved Tokyo right after I moved there. People were so nice and kind in general and unbelievable entertainment stuffs were always available and many newest things in terms of fashion, restaurants, leasures, sports and so on in Japan. During you are young fellow before 25 years old, Tokyo is worth living to enjoy life in every case.
I am serious that I do thank to the company from the bottom of my heart. I am so sorry but I will continue to talk more about Yokohama soon to invite you my favorite spots including some beautiful pictures with it.
